Did I miss something?  How did a 25 year old guy who finished a 5k in just under 27 minutes make headlines in one of the largest newspapers in the U.S.?  Was the race really that difficult?

    1. Agreed. Who do we need to contact to get our names and times in a featured article? I can just see my headline on October 8, 2012: "Chicago Runner Walks last 6.2 Miles of Chicago Marathon after running the first 20 miles way too fast, for a triumphant 6:30 hour finishing time." :-)

  2. There is something weird going on about that 5K. People placed overall and in their AGs that were pedestrian fast. But this article? What the heck...

    1. Yeah, very weird. By the way, I just looked up his results and it looks like he finished 12th in his age group. I bet the other 11 guys in his age group are wondering where their article is!
